Hello Family & Friends,
I have recently joined the Aids Foundation of Chicago (AFC) and their Fund Development Committee. I am incredibly excited to take on this service role to help people living with HIV/AIDS and fight to find a cure for this epidemic. As some of you may know, my father passed away from AIDS in 2007 and with that I’m committed to giving my time, energy, and resources to fighting this fight. Each week, 30-40 Illinoisans become newly infected with HIV. It’s so important that these individuals have access to quality care so that they may live long, dignified lives.
On Saturday (Oct. 1st) AFC will put on their annual “AIDS Run & Walk Chicago” and I am putting together a team (Team Andrew Bohnker) to fundraise. I am asking you to join my team to help fundraise and allow people affected by HIV and AIDS to live with dignity and purpose. Your support helps the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and its community partners continue their important work in the city of Chicago and beyond.
You can sign up for as little or as big of a “Personal Fundraising Goal” as you want. If joining the team and fundraising isn’t something you’d like to do, you can always make a donation to my Personal Donation Page (http://events.aidschicago.org/goto/andrewbohnker).
Thank You and God Bless,
