Welcome to My Personal Page
Please support The Night Ministry’s efforts by participating in the fight against HIV/AIDS on Sunday, October 1 at Soldier Field! You can get involved by running or walking in the 2017 AIDS Run & Walk Chicago, or making a donation to support my participation!
All money raised comes back to The Night Ministry to support our testing outreach to those who are among the most vulnerable for new infections in Chicago. Our testing services are always free, discreet, and come with distribution of safe sex supplies, counseling and referral to services. Many of those who visit our programs are young people, and they come to rely on our programs as a safe place to find information, referrals, and advice in a non-judgmental atmosphere. Our goal is to prevent new HIV infections by increasing awareness and promoting frequent testing and reduced risk behaviors!
Youth experiencing homelessness are extremely vulnerable on the streets. Because of the trust and rapport we are able to build over time, if and when we do identify a new HIV infection, we are able to provide counseling support and immediate linkage to care and services. This is why the continuation of our HIV testing program is so important - to reach more vulnerable youth, identify more previously undiagnosed cases, and link more people to life-saving treatment!
