Support the Season of Concern Team in the 2018 AIDS Walk/Run!
I'm back again to ask for your continued support of Season of Concern and AIDS Foundation Chicago in the 2018 AIDS Walk/Run on September 23.
SOC supports people in the Chicago theater community who are afflicted with HIV/AIDS-related illnesses, as well as those affected by other catastrophic illness. In the last two years, 17 individuals have received direct support from Season of Concern, while dozens of others were helped through the Actors Fund, which SOC supports. Last year, Season of Concern also gave nearly $80,000 in grants to 15 Metro Chicago agencies that support individuals living with HIV/AIDS and will grant as much again in 2018.
This is how you have help Season of Concern serve the Chicago community and I hope you'll help us again this season.
Ninety percent -- that's 90% -- of the dollars the Season of Concern raises for the AIDS Walk comes back to Season of Concern to support our programs and 10% goes to the AIDS Foundation of Chicago to support the important work it does throughout metropolitan Chicago.
By supporting my walk, you are helping both of these agencies support those living with HIV/AIDS. So, will you make a gift so that I can a stroll along Lake Michigan on a beautiful fall day with a thousand friends? And better yet, why don't you think about joining the SOC Team and walk with me?
Thank you for your great support!
