Welcome to my fundraising page!
On September 23, 2018, I will be participating in the AIDS Run & Walk Chicago, on behalf of Loyola University Medical Center’s HIV/AIDS program. I am a registered nurse at Loyola, and I work specifically with patients with HIV/AIDS. Despite great advances in HIV care in the US and worldwide, AIDS remains incurable and there are still nearly 40,000 new HIV infections diagnosed each year in the US.
Loyola has provided primary HIV care since 1991 and offers comprehensive outpatient preventive and medical care for persons with HIV. Many of the people served by Loyola’s program experience the challenges of poverty, homelessness or complex medical and mental health problems. Please consider sponsoring me through the link below. Any amount donated would be greatly appreciated!
Funds will be used to help persons with HIV treated at Loyola obtain medications and other needed services not covered by insurance. All donations are fully tax-deductible and 90% of our team donations will go directly to the HIV program at Loyola.
Thank you so much for your support!
